The Pacific Rim Championships will be held this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the XFINITY Arena in Everett, WA.
Held every two years, Pac Rim Championships include approximately 200 athletes competing in men’s & women’s artistic gymnasts, trampoline, and rhythmic gymnastics.
Countries in the Pac Rim include; Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, and the United States.
What makes the Pac Rim Championships unique is that the team competition includes a combination of athletes from the junior and senior levels for all disciplines of gymnastics. During the team competition, the team and all-around medalists are named in artistic and rhythmic gymnastics.
In addition, the qualifiers for event finals are named during the team competition.
The competition format for trampoline consists of one day of competition that will determine the athletes that will move onto event finals. The top 8 athletes will move onto event finals with a maximum of 2 athletes per country will be eligible to advance.

Pac Rim coverage will be televised on Sunday, April 10 on NBC from 1pm – 3pm EST. USA Gymnastics will also provide webcast coverage of all 3 days of competition for each of the 6 sessions of artistic gymnastics and for trampoline & rhythmic gymnastics.
