USA Gymnastics has now made it easier to find members that have either been deemed permanently ineligible for membership with USA Gymnastics or who currently have their membership with USA Gymnastics suspended.
These published lists are beneficial to club owners and managers during the hiring process as just one of many tools they can use to ensure that the individuals they are hiring have not violated any SafeSport policies or have broken any laws.
For permanently ineligible members, as of January 1, 2012, they will have the USA Gymnastics’ Bylaw, rule, regulation or policy that they violated which resulted in their ineligible status listed next to their name.
USA Gymnastics members who have had their membership suspended was done so by either the U.S. Center for SafeSport, or by authorization under USA Gymnastics Bylaw 10.5, Interim Measures.
The list of suspended members does not include minors and additional research should be used to verify their eligibility, explains USA Gymnastics.
