We are excited to announce that Gym Blog Central is now offering routine evaluations for all Compulsory Levels 1 – 5 and Optional Levels 6 – 10.
All evaluations will be conducted by USA Gymnastics Level 10 or higher rated Women’s Judges.
The purpose of a routine evaluation is to provide an athlete and/or coach with an additional tool to help improve an athlete’s routine or to assist with an area of weakness.
For a compulsory routine evaluation, you will receive a list of errors with deductions that can include execution, artistry, dynamics and text errors that can be seen on the video received for evaluation.
A routine evaluation at the optional level will provide you with a routine’s start value (value parts, special requirements, bonus, etc.) and a list of errors with deductions that can include execution, artistry, dynamics and composition errors that can be seen on the video received for evaluation.
The routine evaluations are one judge’s opinion of the quality of the routine being observed. By no means should these routine evaluations be used to discredit another judge’s evaluation of a routine, a coach’s teaching ability or experience, or be used as the final value of an athlete’s hard work and dedication to her sport.
Only videos of routines that are unobstructed, are from an athlete’s workout, and clearly show the athlete’s performance will be accepted.
We will NOT evaluate a routine that appears to be a video from a competition. If a video is received that is questionable, we will not evaluate it and we will immediately contact the sender for a new video.
Routine evaluations will be returned within 5 – 7 business days.
Routines can be sent by either option below through email:
