The Women’s Olympic Team Trials are this weekend!

You can watch all the action live on NBC.

Everything starts on Friday, July 8 at 9pm EST with Day 1 of the Olympic Trials.

Day 2 of Trials, Sunday, July 10, will air at 8:30pm EST.

Immediately following the conclusion of the Trials, the 5 member Olympic Team and 3 replacement athletes will be announced LIVE on air!

Athletes competing at the 2016 Olympic Trials include:

  4. Brenna Dowell
  5. Rachel Gowey
  6. Laurie Hernandez
  7. Amelia Hundley
  8. Madison Kocian
  9. Ashton Locklear
  10. Maggie Nichols
  11. Aly Raisman
  12. Emily Schild
  13. MyKayla Skinner
  14. Ragan Smith

*Alyssa Baumann announced on 6/30 that she will not be competing due to an elbow injury sustained on 6/29 while training on bars.

In a previous GBC article, Road To Rio – Olympic Team Selection Procedures, I discussed that the athlete who places first in the All-Around after both nights of competition is guaranteed a spot on the Olympic Team.  The remaining 4 spots and 3 replacement athletes will be chosen by the Selection Committee immediately following the conclusion of the Trials.

    1. I am questionable on Douglas right now, she has not been proving herself to be consistent as of lately.
